BIOS: Rob Wahl and John Ashton
Rob Wahl
I started riding dirt bikes when I was about 9 or 10 years old within a couple of years I was doing all the maintenance and even making modifications to my bike and helping friends work on theirs. I stayed with my dirt bikes until I turned 16 and was able to get my license, then every thing changed, dirt bikes became dual purpose then street bikes with a dirt bike still in the garage next to my street bike. The love of working on motorcycles grew, so I decided to make it my career, after some searching I found Rogue Community College in Grants Pass, the only college offering an associate of science degree in motorcycle technology. Two years later graduated 2nd in my class (John who works with me now graduated 1st). Since then I he worked in Salem for 5 Years at Cycle Country, moved to the Eugene area and was service manger for Eugene Suzuki for 2 years then worked for Honda of Eugene for nearly 14 years, as a mechanic, parts man and even did some sales of new and used motorcycles. I never have lost the passion for motorcycles and what makes them tick. I opened Power Sport Dynamic 2 years ago to offer customers a personal alternative to the motorcycle super store. A short time ago I realized I could not offer the type of personal & quality service and run the business end of my store all on my own so I asked John to join me. He decided to move up from California and take on the challenge. John has been a great asset to Power Sport as he is a top mechanic as well as an excellent parts manager. Power Sport Dynamic is a dream for me and I finally get to live a dream with the ultimate goal to provide Quality parts and service at fair prices to any and all types of motorcycles, scooters and a.t.v.s and their owners.

I grew up in Southern California riding and racing motorcycles, I started maintaining my own motorcycles and helped my uncle maintain many race bikes in our backyard shop. After high school I found Rogue Community College had a motorcycle mechanics program so I went to school, this is where I met Rob, we became good friends. We seemed to push each other into higher levels. After college I went to Southern California and worked at K&N Motorcycles in Riverside, after that I went to Grass Valley Motorsports and worked as parts manager, salesman and service writer. My family took me to Idaho and I worked as general manager at Nampa Cycle Salvage, this gave me experience in many different brands. I finally went to Napa California and worked at Napa Yamaha KTM, where I was Service Manager and head mechanic. After many years working the family construction buisness Rob and I finally got together and he talked me into working with him up here. It's good working with a qualified mechanic again, I am looking forward to many more years.
